Brittany on August

We are thinking of Brittany as this years holiday destination. Looking for 1st week of August for 2 adults and 2 teens. Would prefer somewhere near the beach , relatively quiet. Have been to Center Parcs in France before so looking for something similar. All the campsites I look at with mobile homes or chalet seem to be plugging the toddler friendly thing - are these campsites geared to families with young children or would there be stuff for teens to do? Any suggestions??

quiet ones don't tend to be aimed at teenagers. of all the sites we have stayed in at brittany dol de bretagne - think i have name correct - would be most geared to teenagers. but its not quiet and its a bit of a trech to the beach. its just below st malo.

Camping de la Metaire near Carnac might have enough going on for teenagers
But you will need car or bikes for beach or town
It isn't quiet but lovely area and lots of different types of beaches around

carnac area is lovely and weather is a little more reliable. not been to la metairie with older kids though so can't comment. guess it depends if they like swimming/cycling/tabletennis type activities, and we always took a badminton set
