does anyone know if ofsted visit a school whilst children are on school holidays ie out of term time? i have never heard of this as i thought to see how a school is run the children would need to be there many thanks

No. Inspections are done during term time only.

They definitely only visit in term time. Why?

No, teachers are on holiday too. They would need to be paid extra to come into school which isn't going to happen.
