I have big exams in January 2016. My brain totally shuts down in the winter when it's cold / dark, so thinking of heading off somewhere in Europe for a week or two in December, to study.
I like the idea of a small island, was looking at La Palma (Canary Islands). There are some cheap places on airbnb and flights are reasonable.
Anyone have any recommendations for warm, cheap-ish, relatively quiet places where I can retreat for a couple of weeks?
