NY?

An MNer this week was telling others to get the cable car to Roosevelt Island.

I myself loved Ellis Island.

If y go to the management suite in Bloomingdales they'll give you a shopping pass.

Their make up ladies are liberal with the freebs too.

Where are you staying?

Midtown the Red Flame diner at 66 W 44th is great for a load up breakfast.

Greenwich great for brunch, then go to the Highline.

I've got a list of bars somewhere I'll be back.

TAO Asian Bistro, 42 East 58th Street, New York, NY 10022 – this place is fantastic need to book check their website

Italian – San Pietro East 54th Street (I think) not cheap but very atmospheric (get lovely and dressed up for this one!!!)

Steak – Del Friscos 6th and 50 (glam, my fave!!)

If you want a drink with a view – 230 Fifth Avenue/ 27th Street and 5th. Also top of the rock (but 230 better!!!)

Hotel concierge can help out with more details. I’d really recommend Tao and 230

I was coming on to say 230 Fifth Av! Also Serendipity for hot choc/ice cream and if you like oysters and or martinis go to the bar at Grand Central station

Thanks.
I've been to Tao and loved it! I'll checkout the other suggestion now. Thanks :)
