We went to a gigantic AI resort last year, and though it was lovely in many ways, it also broke the bank and meant that our acquaintance with Croatia itself was more or less limited to 'Croatia night' at the resto and the hard-working staff...I'm dying to go back in a different way now!
Kids 3 and 6, and not that great at amusing themselves (and not killing each other), alas...we do better in an environment with other people around, esp other kids, than on our own in a villa.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a small, or small-ish hotel, or maybe a campsite with mobile homes? Ideally, with a pool and a restaurant (esp the former)? Open to all areas.
