Current passport waiting times

We sent off for our daughters first passport last weekend using check and send, was wondering if anyone here had done the same recently and how long the process took?

I'm in Scotland and sent off for DS1 passport and it came back within 2 weeks. Hope this helps.

Two weeks or so for us too, through check and send.

I did DH's renewal at the end of April and it came back a week later. DD's new passport applied for at the end of February took 2 weeks.

Ours took about two weeks too and this was very recently.

I sent mine via the Post Office during the first week of May and it was back in a weeks time.Very efficient, there were quite a few people sending theirs, so if I were you I'd apply soon before they get inundated.

My own renewal just back and was under two weeks.

I sent mine off on Saturday check and send and it was back the following Thursday, very impressed.

Sent 2 off on a Thursday and new ones arrived Friday following week! (2 weeks ago).

Two weeks ago we renewed them online, and it took 6 days from posting the declaration form and photos to receiving them special delivery. You can log in and check the progress as well. Really pleased.

Renewed mine online and they sent it back. The new photo rules want no glasses and hair off your face so of course I didn't look the same as in my old photo. So I had to get it signed.
Sent it back 2/5 and nothing yet. Just as well I'm not in a hurry.
