I need help! I have spent what feels like days searching for a holiday and I just don't know where to go!
We can go from 22 August but need to be back by 5 September, want to go for 10 days. There's me, DH, Ds1 aged 10, Ds2 aged 6, MIL and FIL. We like Alcudia, Paphos, places that have some character but where there is plenty to do and lots of places to eat. We thought Santa Ponsa and Cala n Forcat in Menorca were ok, but a bit bland. DH has Crohns and he and FIL are coeliac! Also FIL can't walk very far.
I'd happily go back to Alcudia or I've also been looking at Pollenca but it's a bit more than we want to spend, unless we share a 2 bed apartment with the il's. Got a budget of £1600 (preferably less!) for the 4 of us plus whatever it costs the in laws.
I think I've narrowed it down to puerto del carmen on lanzarote, or somewhere in Crete, but I don't know where in Crete would be nice. Can anyone suggest somewhere? Turkey is out because mil won't go there (even though I've told her it's beautiful, and a massive country she still thinks it's too near Syria).
