Campsite or self-catering recommendations on Belgian / Dutch / French coast

Hi,

we are driving to Germany to see my parents and have a cheap holidaylate July / early August. On the way back, we want to have a few days holiday on the coast.

We are travelling Dunkirk - Dover, so a place that is sort of "on the way" would be good.

One Problem is that we can only stay about four nights, starting in the middle of the week, and I've already seen that many sites only take bookings Friday to Friday.

We would like something good value for money and as close to the coast as possible - to remove the need of an hours worth of packing each morning!

Oh, "we" is myself, my husband, and DS (will be just 2 by the time we travel).

There's a campsite in wassenaar (?sp) Holland that has a slide pool and funfair attached and is also a cycle ride from the beach.. We stayed with euro camp but there are other ways ..
