Hi
We are arriving at Exeter Airport at 3.00am next week, I'm trying to book the airport carpark but can't figure out which option is best. We have a baby and buggy and want to be as close to the terminal as possible....is the shuttle service easy to use with a buggy.....the meet and greet option sounds good but they have warnings on the website saying the service isn't suitable for disabled customers because of the distance so worry there might also be issues with a pushchair....help?!?!?

We went for Long stay 3 and it was really good, v close and easy - we managed luggage, buggy, large car seat etc and it was all fine, very close. Dont know about the other car parks but ours was good.

that's useful, thank you. I was worrying about getting on the shuttle bus - in the dark - with all our luggage etc

O I should say we didnt use any shuttle bus, not sure if I explained fully. We just walked, but it was just over the road. On the way in we were running really late and had no trolley or anything and was still ok (altho was light!), on the way back we had a trolley and even better.

Oh, that's even better. Its hard to visualise what the area is like and as we are getting there at an unearthly hour I wanted to be prepared as best as possible.

Exeter airport is pretty teeny which is good. I think we did have like the closest spot in the car park amazingly but it was a good choice. Are you going with your dp? maybe you could get dropped off with the luggage and they go and park the car or something? or maybe google earth will give you a good idea of the area in the daylight?!

Wish I'd seen this sooner, work there so could have easily advised. Cp3 is what I always recommend to our passengers, close enough to walk and if not at least the shuttle bus main focus is on cp3. 4 is ok but if you don't want to wait for the bus in the early hrs the walk is short but the path isn't the best lit, something flybe and airport are trying to get the council to sort out

As Rasta said, Exeter is such a small airport that you can pretty much walk anywhere without too much hassle. And staff are all lovely and helpful too.

Quick warning though - I booked parking online last week and entered my car registration number as it appears, with a space in the middle. At the barrier the number plate recognition thingy couldn't recognise my car reg. Apparently I should have entered it without any spaces. (Could be more of a problem for you to get help at 3am?)

I sometimes think the number plate system is temperamental, it plays the staff up a treat Grin it's easy for me to say it as I work there, but I'm regularly a passenger too, it's a nice easy airport to fly from. I flew out last week and am flying in tomorrow, hopefully our arrival will be as smooth as our departure was
