Family holiday

Recommendations for a family holiday, children are 5 and 3. Length of stay possibly 3 weeks. Thinking Australia or America?

Would highly recommend either. We went to Australia with a stopover in Singapore when DS was 3 and have been to America several times.

If you have 3 weeks available, I'd go to Oz.

Our Oz holiday was Sydney, Port Douglas (Great Barrier Reef/Daintree Forest), Perth and the Singapore stopover.

DC still remembers the Opera House, fruit bats in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney etc.

Port Douglas was lovely - breakfast with tropical birds, cruise crocodile infested waters, stop off at ice cream farm (Qumquat flavours etc), venture through rainforests (or messy forests as our DC would say).

We stayed in Perth due to flights but wasn't a patch on the other spots tbh.

And in Singapore, the zoo is amazing - must be the best in the world - and the botanical gardens are fab too with a great play and water splash area.

Thanks for your advice ipadmad, we've been to Australia before but not with the kids.
