In case anyone is panicking over an emergency passport, having lost DD's at the airport the other week and a school trip coming up, I used the Newport office Fast Track service. Appointment on the Thursday and passport arrived Tuesday by courier (to be signed for). Couldn't use the Premium service as it was a lost child's passport. Their telephone helpline was really helpful and was able to keep me updated. Full marks to the passport office!
