We've booked a week at a center parcs in Belgium and are looking for somewhere to stay the second week within 2-3 hours ish which would be different but still family friendly (DC's 3 and 4). Any tips/advice on areas / accommodation. We went to the Ardenne area of Belgium years ago (pre kids) and quite liked it so were thinking maybe there?!

Don't know anything about Ardennes, sorry. But last year we stayed in West Flanders, in a lovely coastal town called De Haan which I would recommend. There's a tram (Kusttram) which goes through it, to all the adjacent towns and villages so it's really easy to explore the local area.

Thanks. Yes. We've been to De Haan and stayed in a Sunpark there which was great. Was hoping to explore the eastern area a little but not really sure what's there in terms of family friendly accommodation and activities.
