Hotels near Heathrow?!

OK, flying out of Heathrow on the 21st June, having to get to the airport by public transport is proving tricky. Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap(ish) hotels nearby? Or hostels/guesthouses etc, it's a base for the night, I'm not fussy!

Premier inn Heathrow is good

Look at booking.com
You can specify Heathrow airport as location and filter results by rating or price

Premier Inn on the Bath Road is really good, we stayed there last week and will be staying again in 4 weeks time.

I also recommend the Bath Road Premier Inn.

Hilton on Tesco tokens - we do that every time we go away...

If you're flying out of T5 try travellodge, we paid £19 for a room at Easter.

I stayed at Holiday Inn (T5) and it was really good. If you are in company the pub over the road is a Thai restaurant and was really busy and buzzing - I just felt a bit "obviously single" there so had a meal in the hotel instead (which was pretty good for a hotel chain). The staff were really lovely too.

I'm not sure how much it normally costs as I used some reward points I had.

The car parking is £10 a day if you need it and the shuttle to the airport is chargeable too but not sure how much.

Ooh, thanks for the suggestions - will be flying from Terminal 3. I'm very excited but nervous too as I've never flown alone before and I'm a bit of a nervous flyer anyway! So a nice, stress free journey to the airport will be a bonus :)

Both the premier inn and holiday inn are fine. I think the shuttle is about £6 one way. I think children go free. Or I think there are normal buses that do a similar circuit.

Thanks everyone, I'll weigh up the options (check in is at 10am so public transport times are a bit weird) as long as my flight doesn't change (booked through Camp America so still possible the date might change to the day before).
