Valencia beach

We've booked flights to Valencia in the summer. Stayed in the city for a few days last year but this year would like to stay on the coast, Has anyone been to Alboraya or any other beach resorts in the area? Where would you recommend? It's me, DP and DD who is 8.

I have been to La Malvarosa and Las Arenas many times. La Patacona (Alboraya) is right next to these ones. They are OK beaches and you can reach them easily by taking the metro and then the tram from Maritim-Serreria
