Hello, I wondered if anyone has recommendations for campsites and things to do or see between Calais and Bordeaux. We have a 3 year old and a camper van and haven't picked a route yet. Our trip is in July so hope the weather will be good. Thank you

We did this journey last year, stopped in Reims on the way down overnight and a lovely eurocamp in the Loire valley on the way back

Am also planning a driving trip through France this year. Can you stay at Eurocamp for just one night? Do they have tents already set up? Do they all get booked up or can you turn up? Any advice welcome!

Any advice on cheap ways of travelling through France, with two teenage kids?

Lac D'Orient near Troyes was a great stop for us. About 6 hours from the Tunnel so a good midway stop. It's across a quiet road from the lake so no worries about kids wandering off and swimming on their own. Will def go back, both to the site and to explore the area.
