How many sets of clothes do we really need

Wondering how many sets of clothes we really need to pack as adults going on a family beach/ pool holiday to Lanzarote in May (DC will have 2 sets per day as they can be messy).

depends how much washing you want to do!

kids can wear one sunsuit all day, just rinse off the ice-cream each night and hang to dry over the balcony. So they need two sunsuits, plus stuff for the evening - a couple of fleeces and possibly long trousers.

adults who can generally eat without being covered in food; again; a couple of sets of evening clothes, two lots of swimwear (remember your cover-ups, you are going to Africa at near peak UV), sightseeing clothes, that's it.
