Play doh on a plane?

I've tried googling but with no luck.
We are flying with monarch tomorrow on a 4 hour flight with our 3 year old. Can I take play doh in hand luggage? It's the one thing guaranteed to keep him entertained for longer than 5 minutes!

It may well get taken off you by security but on the other hand it may not. They may well swab it for explosive testing. Its not the best thing to take on an aircraft though because bits of it could get dropped and trodden into the carpet.

We normally take it. Little pots though if that makes a difference.

I take play dough everywhere and have never had an issue. when travelling I keep a pot in the diaper bag for plane, restaurants etc.
