Ibiza Family Holiday

Any recommendations for where to stay in Ibiza in August?

Family of 4, with 2 DS, aged 6 & 3. Looking for family friendly, away from the party scene, preferably with some activities for the kids and nice food for us. Any recommendations on areas to look at or to avoid? Budget is around £2k for 11 nights, but could go higher if we find something special.

Grateful for any suggestions, I have flights on hold for 72 hours and need to find accommodation to go with them or let them go.

Santa Eulalia and Es Canar are both nice, family type resorts. Sorry I can't recommend a hotel as we were s/c

Thanks for the recommendation. I have booked the Orquidea in Santa Eulalia. Fingers crossed it all goes well.

Ooh watching with interest in case more suggestions are made - we're thinking of Ibiza for our next family holiday abroad with DC who will be 3 years & 18 months...

We've been to Ibiza 3 times in the last 4 years and love it. We love Portinatx (in the north) - fab beaches, great for kids, so gently shelving. Last year we also went to Cala Vadella - in the south. Was fab too.

In fact we had a week in Cala Vadella at some apartments there, then took the public bus to Portinatx (via Ibiza Town) to stay in the hotel Oasis there for a week. We took the bus back to the airport via Santa Eulalia (which looked nice, but bigger than Portinatx/Cala Vadella).
Buses were fantastic - run spot on to time.

Ibiza is great!

Portinatx is fab, sat by the pool as I type. Have a look at the presidente with Thomson.
