Cruise fanatics - is this a good price?

Ok never been on a cruise before, but after good chat from neighbours and S/C holiday in back of beyond with IL family, I'm growing warm to the idea of a holiday where my meals are cooked for me and I get entertained.

So am looking at Easter 2016, P&O cruise with flights from local airport, 7 nights med at £2k for inside cabin or £2,600 for a balcony for 3 of us - 2 adults and one 10 year old. There's a wee bit of onboard spend back for both types but not a lot. It's on Oceana if that means anything

It seems like a good price to me considering it includes food, flights and entertainment, although I know we'll pay extra for drinks, tips and excursions.

Does that seem a reasonable price and is it worth booking so far in advance ?

Any advice gratefully received, looking to book fairly sharpish, if we decide to go ahead.

seems a very good price and Oceana is fantastic.

We always book in advance, there are pros and cons to both but bear in mind that maritime law limits the number of children who can cruise at once so if you wait til closer for a holidays cruise you may find they have no children's spaces. We are have already reserved a place on an August 2016 cruise.

Thanks for the very prompt response sirzy.

In terms of cabins what do you go for? Our friends said that they tend to go for an inside as they aren't in the cabin a lot, but I'm not sure if we'd feel too cooped in.

You don't happen to know how much it costs for wifi? Helpful lady at the travel company said it was available but we'd have to pay for it and I felt I had asked too many questions already to ask that one.

We went for inside and it was fine.

No idea on wifi sorry but I think it's quite expensive.
