I've got a couple of days in New York coming up in a couple of weeks (with DH but without the very DD's - WHAHOOOOOO - I'm SOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!) Does anyone have any recommendations as to what to see, where to go and places to eat etc., along with anything else that could be useful? It's been a while since I've been anywhere!

Thank you very much in advance

I'd make sure I found the opportunity to eat here . Open 24 hours, delicious food and some of the best people-watching in town.

Ice-skating in the Rockerfeller Center......do a helicpoter tour.....take the ferry over to Staten Island, then jump straight back on it again (nothing to see on Staten Island).....go shopping in Century 21....hansom cab around Central Park......see a game - baseball season is over, but hockey and basketball are in season.......visit Ground Zero....go up the Empire State......walk walk walk - it's a really easy city to get around.
Enjoy!
