Hi,
Just a quick question about the Leavesden studio tour for anyone who's been. Is it particularly warm inside? I know there is an outside bit too, are you outside for long? Going on Saturday and wondering what kind of dress would be appropriate!
Many thanks in advance!

Not especially warm inside but not cold, like being inside any public building (cinema, shopping mall etc). The outside bit is good with a cafe / stand thing selling butterbeer and the flying car, knightbus etc - you might be there for a while. You manage your own time on the tour, it's not guided, so you can choose how long you're inside and outside. It's great, enjoy!

Most of it is inside, temperature perfectly pleasant when we went there. Not much outside, if very sunny you might want sunscreen. It is the bit you are most likely to stop and drink and eat in.
I would dress normal, no need for coats.

It was night time and freezing outside when we went but we were all warm inside in just t-shirts, jumpers/coats back on for outside bit but otherwise we just carried them

There's a cloakroom to leave coats in, if it looks like coats might be needed outdoors.

Sorry - I don't think you'd be able to get the coats from the cloakroom for the outside bit of the tour, but if you need coats for travel.

Thank you very much for all your responses! That's very helpful. We'll probably leave coats in the cloakroom then and just wear lightish clothes and layer up our youngest DS for the change from indoors to outdoors! Thank you once again.
