cycling in Regents or Hyde park?

Thinking of taking DS(age 13) to London tomorrow to see an exhibition. As the weather is nice I thought about hiring a couple of Boris bikes to scoot round one of the parks. Which one is best?TIA

There are a lot more cycle routes in hyde park; in Regent's Park you are more restricted in where you can cycle, just in the inner and outer circle and a portion of the broad walk. So hyde park would offer more variety.
