We arrive in Orlando on October 26 th for 11 nights but as the flight arrives late in the first night we shall just be sleeping. We want to do Disney, Kennedy space centre, have some time by the beach and do universal studio.

Is there an area I could book a villa for the whole 11 nights that soul let me do all this or do I need to move about, I am thinking 4 nights on site in Disney, move to lovely beach area for 5 nights Andy then last 2 nights at universal. Seems like cocoa beach would be good as the Kennedy space centre is near there. I am trying to avoid the parks over Halloween weekend as I think it will be madly busy.

It will be madly busy over the Halloween weekend yes. However they may well be doing a trick of treat evening. We did that in California Adventure a few years ago and it was great fun. Came back with a whole bag just of ds's treats as hand luggage because it weighed so much! We had to book the tickets separately, and lots of the rides (not the water ride) were also running. May be worth looking to see if they are doing anything similar in Florida.

Or if you are going to the beach then maybe that's the weekend to be there.
We shifted base once too. It did pretty much waste a day as we couldn't check in to our new hotel until the afternoon. So if you're going to move twice bear that in mind.

We've been three times over Halloween, and haven't found it to be too busy. There are special events on at that time of year which can be fun.

We went to Downtown Disney one Halloween evening, which did get very busy after the first hour or so, but it was fun seeing everyone dressed up, make sure you take a costume!

Don't dp Disney on a night when they're doing a Halloween party unless ou have a ticket for the party - otherwise you'll get thrown out of the park when the party starts! Personally I'd stay onsite (or get a villa) for Disney and then stay onsite at Universal - you get free express passes by staying at Universal and it's fabulous there. KSC is an hour's drive from Orlando and so is Cocoa beach - but the beaches on the Gulf Coast are apparently much nicer.
