Want to go away May half-term. Somewhere in Europe so short flight. Where would you recommend? Have not had a holiday abroad in years so happy to splurge but want it to be hassle free with lots of food choices and a safe environment for a toddler and 6 year old.

Is there a budget at all? Do you want sun and beach? How hot?

PearsonSpecter · 06/04/2015 15:18

Swimming pool or beach. Temperature early to mid twenties. Budget up to £5k.

Have you looked at www.totstotravel.co.uk ? Have a look at one of their resorts - Either Sunrise Garden in the Algarve or Hillside in Turkey.

We just got back from a cruise. We went with Norwegian, as they were cheap, but it's still a 5* experience. Others like Royal Caribbean or Celebrity are more expensive but a bit nicer. Stuff for kids, food options. Loved it Grin

Google Villa Pia. Not for everyone but it is fantastic.

Are you not a bit late looking for May half term? Might be difficult to get flights???

PearsonSpecter · 07/04/2015 18:04

Thank you for all the ideas! Yes it is a little late, but needed to ensure could get time off work. Will carry on researching tonight.
