Holiday in Europe

Well we are decided to head to Europe for our annual holiday. However we are stuck on which country to visit. We live in the north east of England and want to fly from Newcastle/ Durham/ Edinburgh. We can't decide on which country to go to. We have been to France twice and Gibraltar. Has anyone any good suggestions for 2 adults and 1 child aged 11?

What about Italy?

Not sure what you want from your holiday but you could go to Rome and do the usual touristy things with an 11 year old. Or if you could go to the Venetian coast or the Italian lakes depending on what sort of holiday you want.

I also think Germany is underrated (Black Forest, Bavaria, Lake Constance etc etc) but I am presuming you want to do more of a package holiday type thing.
