Disneyland Paris breakfast

Going to Hotel Santa Fe over Easter, wondering if we have to pick a breakfast time slot and stick to it? Have read earlier the better to avoid queues, which we will try and do, but may want to not rush one day! Also read you can request to eat breakfast in Plaza gardens (not character or paying extra) when arriving at reception. Any restaurant recommendations?

Haven't heard of plaza gardens.
Breakfast at Newport bay is a ghastly bun fight with poor food, breakfast at disneyland hotel is lovely so I think it varies between hotels!

We were at Cheyenne and had to pick breakfast slots for each day that we were there. We didn't need to stick to the same time each day, so had a variety.

It was busy, but not manic.

Back again having had fab time in DLP! At reception when checking in, was encouraged to have breakfast in the park at no extra cost. We ate once in Plaza gardens off Main Street (much calmer than hotel) and once in The Marionnette place in Fantasyland, twice in hotel, busy but bareable!
