Best restaurants in Liverpool

I want to know what everyone thinks are the best local restaurants in Liverpool.

My other half is launching a business in the city that will deliver food from quality restaurants (that wouldn't normally do deliveries) to people's doors.

Whose delicious food would you like delivered to you when you get back from a long day at work??

Also any ideas of areas of town that would be most keen on the idea.

Are you sure the average salary in Liverpool can support this kind of business model? How much research has he done?

I'm not sure Liverpool has quite the same amount of young professionals with a 24/7 lifestyle as say London but you should look at the city center and the areas surrounding the city center such as Lark Lane and Aigburth

The business is already doing really well in Manchester and launching soon in Leeds (definitely not just a London thing!).

They will deliver lunches and dinners to offices and to households. Most popular things ordered are usually quality italians, burger places, Thai etc.

They make money from the restaurant, not the customer, so it's not a pricey service that people won't be able to afford (although obviously you wouldn't want to be using it every day!)

Look at Bold Street too which is well renowned for international cuisine. There are restaurants serving Lebanese, Moroccan, Korean, Indian and Caribbean food.
