We had a brill day out last month at this place, they breed wild boar but have lots of other animals for children to look at, feed, chick stroking or lamb bottle feeding at intervals through the day. Our 22month old loved it. When you arrive you get a sheet with all walks on it and a map of what animals are there. There was a sow lying down whilst about 10 piglets were feeding off her. So I sat down to breastfeed our 4 month old and thought if anyone looks at me funny I'll just say I'm only doing the same as that other old sow over there!!! The cafe was very reasonable prices as was the gift shop, we bought some wild boar steaks for the next day and very good they were too. It was full of younger children and everyone seemed to have a good time. Very well laid out and well planned. I would recommend it for a cheap afternoon out for anyone with young children, only £3.50 for adults, sorry I don't know how much for kiddies as both ours are under two which was free!
