Which greek island first week of june for best weather?

Going to hopefully be booking last minute deal for first week in june. Ideally fancy one of the greek islands but where will be the warmest at that time of year? It's just for me and a friend, looking for a chilled time round the pool, wander around a few shops and a few nice meals out. Was thinking maybe Kos? Have only been to Corfu but that was over 20 years ago end of Sept and it was dreadful weather. Rained the entire time, awful hotel couldn't wait to get home. Just really looking for some sunshine.

Probably Kos, Rhodes or Crete.

Where in Kos? Or rather where to avoid, never been so not sure. Def don't want 18/30 type place or all brit pubs etc, just sun sea sand, nice food and a pool. Thanks

Rhodes has the most sun all year round but in June everywhere will be sunny.

no guarantees but early June is good odds, and a wonderful time with flowers out, long daylight hours and locals not yet stressed. Plenty of options although recommend sea over pool - cleaner, warmer and quieter. Two weeks off peak UV so cover up.

the kiddy-drunk resort on Kos is Kardamena so just avoid that one. Similarly Faliraki on Rhodes.

also had recent recommendation for Nidri on Lefkas which should tick all your boxes.

end of Sept is iffy anywhere in Greece BTW.

We cruised around the Greek islands in the first week of May a couple of years ago , and it was hot, hot, hot!

We liked Kefalos in Kos, but it's quite a laid back, small resort...not many shops.

Had a wonderful week pre-DCs in lesbos in June. Heavenly.

June's normally good weather, more reliable than September for all Greek Islands in my experience, I've done Ionian ones at that time of year too with great weather.

I have to say, Kos is probably my least favourite island I've visited. How about Samos?
