Has anyone been on an RV trip around California? We're planning an end-of-GCSEs trip this summer and I want to check how easy it is to visit the cities (LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas) by RV, as obviously the campsites are going to be a little way out. Are there buses you can catch from campsites into city centres? If so how late do them come back? Or do we need to rely on taxis?
I know lots of people do this holiday and it obviously works brilliantly with Yosemite etc but I'm struggling to work out the logistics when it comes to the cities. Any help much appreciated!
