First night away with hubby

Hi ladies! I’m a new mum and loving it, but I’m so tired all the time. DH is as well but feels awful for me and really wants to take me away for a night to relax somewhere nice. We’ve been really tying our purse strings since our LO came along and although we want a treat, we don’t want to blow the bank. Does anyone know any discount deals or promo offers on any hotel chains? We’re looking to go next month just after our little one turns 6 months. Nothing fancy, just a night of peace and quiet for mum and dad ?. If you know of anything please let me know, thanks ?
P.S. I’m trying to keep my cool about leaving the little one with MIL for a night but I’m scared! Anyone have any tips for separation anxiety?

Omg don’t worry about leaving them for one night babe! I’m sure your mum in law will do fab, she bought up hubby after all! And us mummies deserve all the pampering and treats we can get, we have the hardest job in the world! I’m taking my little one on her first trip to London next month and it all looked samey on those websites, but I saw on Facebook that if you book with late rooms you get a £10 voucher which was a pretty good perk to me lol! Hope that’s the sort of thing you’re looking for hun xxx
