Things to do with toddler near M40 between Oxford and Warwick

Hi, we're travelling from the south coast to Manchester on Easter weekend. Our 18 month old is not a big fan of being in the car so we are looking for somewhere interesting to stop en-route between Oxford and Warwick without straying too far from the M40.

Does anyone have any suggestions for places to stop in this area that would be fun for a little one?

Thanks in advance.

If you can bear soft play, there's Rugrats and Halfpints, on the outskirts of Banbury, which isn't far from J11.

There's a fab playground, mini train and loads of space to run around at Blenheim Palace but you'll have to buy a family annual pass to get in.

There's also a garden centre with soft play at Bicester

Cutteslowe Park is just at the top of Oxford, 5-10 mins off the A34 (depending on the time of day, anyway.. Don't use the south car park though, as it'll be harder to get back to the A34.

Assuming you're travelling up the A34, of course :)

There's Hatton (but might be a bit expensive for a short stop) about 10 minutes from J15

also Wyevale garden centre, J15 again but only 2 mins from the junction and £1.50 for an hour of soft play. They occasionally close the soft play for parties so ring first to double check.

rugrats in Banbury as suggested above is also good
