Just me ( middle aged old biddy) travelling mid May.
Not needing luxury but basic clean/ pleasant. Quirky is fine. I'd rather quirky than a faceless holiday in.
I speak no italian but I assume that isn't a problem.
Found a couple on booking.com as a start - one 3km from centre in a quiet religious owned location ( that doesn't bother me but I might titter at light up sacred heart shrines ) and the station hotel in the centre obv small and presumably less quiet / relaxing.
So central or a metro away?
I shall be visiting my dad who is studying there ( proud mum grin) but she doesn't go till easter.
Also likely to be arriving late and leaving early if that makes a difference. I'd quite like a safe location but I'm from a city not a quiet country town.
