Catalonia coast/costa brava - where is nice? Villa recs?

Oping for a villa with a pool somewhere nice and quiet in Catalonia/the costa brava. Not somewhere busy and touristy, but somewhere pretty and traditional and quiet.

Can anyone recommend a villa in the area? And where are nice places to go there? Thanks?

Sant Marti d'Empuries might fit your requirements. It is a small medieval village about 1km from L'Escala. It has about 5 restaurants and a church, and that's about it! You can easily get into L'Escala for shopping either by walking the very scenic path round the coast or there is a carrilet (a sort of tourist train on wheels) that runs hourly. The restaurants do get quite busy but they empty out by 11pm. There are also beach bars dotted about on the beaches. We've been a few times and absolutely love it.
The apartment we usually stay in is right in the village itself and has no pool but I know that one of the restaurants rent out villas a few metres outside the village that share a pool between them
