Hotel recommendations in Florida, Lake Buenna Vista?

I'm looking for a hotel in the Florida Lake Buenna Vista area, ideally a mini suite with a bedroom / separate lounge area. It's for 2 adults and 1 child. I've been googling and looking on Trip Advisor but there's so many! Does anyone have any recommendations, or indeed anywhere to avoid? Thanks

You could start here - this was a large family villa, but the estate is lovely.

More here:

Lovely and quiet as a lot of teh villas seem to be occupied by their owners, rather than being entirely let for holidays. Pleasant grounds, 24H WalMart 5 mins drive away and close to the freeways for easy communications.

That looks lovely! However a bit large for 3, I may have to recruit lots of friends to join us! Last year we went with a larger group but next time it will just be DH, DD and me so we were thinking a hotel near to disney, hence me wondering about the Lake Buenna Vista area.

We stayed here.

Amazing condos with all the same mod cons as any villa. Starbucks and loads of restaurants in walking distance if you get fed up with Disney food.

You may find better rates on Travelocity/Expedia type websites by the way Smile

Also forgot to say you can see the Disney Fireworks from the higher up condos.

Thanks Llama, will take a look at that

My daughter stayed just up the road from lake buena vista on the 192 out towards the 27. It's called Caribe Cove. It's lovely . Very light and very Floridian.

She booked with cheapest flights and they were £1000 cheaper for the rest for accommodation, flights and car.

Last oct ( not school holidays) £3.5 k for five of them. You are probably 10-15 mins from lake buena vista but you can take the back road into Disney ;-)

Sorry meant to say its a condo with a communal pool so not as big as a villa but still pretty spacious and nicer than a hotel in my opinion.

Orlandovillas do do small 3 bed villas and some condos . All the villas are owned by families not companies.

Have you considered staying right in the heart of the magic in a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort? disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/art-of-animation-resort/rates-rooms/
There's lots of benefits to being a Disney Resort Guest like: complimentary use of the Disney transport system and Disney's Magical Express, Extra Magic Hours, complimentary Magic Bands etc etc ...
