Where in Europe is hot at the end of April?

We are looking to go away around 21st April and are now thinking towards looking at an European beach resort? Not sure if this is realistic as we want hot weather so we can sunbathe and swim in the sea? Can anyone recommend anywhere? We want to stay somewhere peaceful - which is the reason we are not going somewhere like Dubai.

The canaries are your best bet, although higher end of warm rather than hot. But at least the chance of rain is less.
I've been to a few places like Rome, Barcelona and Palma in April. They had T shirt weather most days but pretty heavy rain for short periods. When that sun goes in it doesn't feel great.

Tenerife was late 20's in April. Sea wont be warm!
Also Cyprus could be around 20c.
You might get lucky, we went to Palma one April and it was early 20's. Can you wait a few weeks? you will have loads more options.
Or go to the Caribbean- loads of peaceful resorts and the sea will be warmer.

I was in Majorca at the end of April last year and it was absolutely lovely. Maybe not swimming in the sea hot (although people were) but certainly lying on the beach hot.

I've been to Tenerife and Majorca in April Majorca was just nice for me 23 Tenerife was about 28 was roasting

When you say hot I presume you want 30C or so? To me 20C is barely swimsuit weather.
The Canaries would be warm, maybe hot but sea and pools will be cold. They can also be very windy. A heated pool is really needed in April.
You might get warm weather further North in Majorca but it's unlikely to be hot.

Tenerife the sea is warm enough to swim in all year round, although north coast the waves get rough, but the south coast is fine. We swam in the sea in january last year and it was lovely. Its about as good a weather as youll get if you want to stay in europe. If i wanted (almost) guaranteed sunshine, thats where I would head.

If you want somewhere peaceful, maybe rent an appartment with airbnb or housetrip instead of going to a resort

Thailand and probably cheaper than going to Europe.

Since when can you get an easyjet flight to thailand for £30?

Thanks for all your replies! I looked at all sorts of places including the Canaries and Tenerife and couldn't find a hotel I liked. We are going to Abu Dhabi now - need it to be hot!
