looking for ideas, done Spain a few times fancy somewhere different. Swimming pool, beach, nice hotel. Looking for a bit of luxury but also need to keep my little boy busy too. Trolling through the web but cannot decide on a location at the mo. Portugal any good? Any recommendations would be amazing.

Thanks in advance....

I would go to Greece, cannot recommend it enough as a lovely family friendly location.

WIth the kids, I have been to Rhodes, Kefalonia, Crete and the Peloponese and would recommend any of them.

I used to take DS on holiday on my own when he was aged 5 - 9 ish. We had a blast.

I did keep it simple though- generally Canary Islands - our first two summers we went to Costa Teguise in Lanzarote- as there was nothing too dififcult about it. All very kid friendly too. Also went to mainland Spain a couple of times.

Not been to Portugal but it does look good.

Portugal is nice so are the Greek Islands and Turkey.

I second Greece, they're fabulous with kids Smile

Yes, Greece is great. They love children. I took DS to Zakynthos when he was 18 months old and we had a great time. He was adored and cooed over for the whole week!
