Berlin self catering best place to stay?

Just that really - want to be able to get around easily

Weve been to Berlin twice. Our exoerience was that it didn't matter where we stayec (within reason!), public transport was so good that everywhere was easily accessible.

The first time we stayed at a and o hotel in Friedrichshain, the second time we stayed in a self-catering apartment by Günzelstraße U-bahn station. We liked self-catering, but would go back to Friedrichshain if we went again. We found our apartment on booking.com. We loved Berlin!
