Thinking of going on Friday if weather okayish. Thought I'd got a kids go free voucher but typically can't find it now. Cheapest I've found so far are £22 each on lastminute.com. Any advice on cheaper options ! Will it be chaos ?

Yes, it will be chaos!

If you shop at tesco, you can buy vouchers with your points...too alte this time but worth remembering. (You pay with £6 points, and get your £24 ticket)

Looks promising thank you - is it only one child free per household or one child per adult within the household ? Where could I check that it would be valid for Friday, doesn't seem to be in the Terms and Conditions of the Legoland site ?

We went today on the last minute deal it wasn't too bad. Also ended up getting an annual pass while we were there as it was the same as what we payed for today, can use it for the next year and includes discouts to other attractions. The M25 on the way home was far worse than anything in legoland!
