We're looking for a family friendly hotel, must have a playground and rooms with separate bedroom area for dc. Pool not important but close to a beach and somewhere pretty for strolling is a plus. I'd rather have the option of at least half board as don't want to cook and kids both have early bedtimes. There's too much choice and I'm getting overwhelmed...

Any recommendations?

No recommendations as we haven't been yet but we are going to Cala n'Bosh, the hotel is Viva Menorca.
I spent so many hours on trip advisor and other websites!

From what I can gather Menorca is quite quiet and nowhere is too rowdy.
Our hotel caters for All inclusive to self catering and they are one bed apartments so no sharing a sleeping space with kids. We did that when DD was little, never again!

I've been to Viva Tropic in Alcudia, Mallorca. It's a 4 star apartotel, and you can get 2 bed apartments. V child friendly. We did AI and the food is fine, like any AI it becomes repetitive but the standard is good. V clean. Scandinavian-owned chain of hotels. When we were there the kids club was wonderful, the building itself wasn't great but the staff were fantastic. We've been to fancier places since but this place stands out as the best kids club, both us and the kidssay this. Kiddies pool too with slides etc.

Im looking for all inclusive at the moment...so if anyone else has any to recommend that would be fab.

mindermummy Viva Tropic is one street away from the beach so about 200m from the beach. It's a short stroll (pass a few shops, one v nice shoe and bag where I may have shopped browsed a bit). If I had to make a criticism it would be that the pool grounds are a bit small. Other than that I couldn't fault it.

I can't remember the price but I think it was about €2000 for a week, all-inclusive.
