Can you get it in the supermarket and does it cost the earth? Amazon.fr has just scared the life out of me, showing a standard tin for around £30! Off on hols at easter and wondering if I need to take a big stash with us.

could you try phoning the helpline and ask them

www.babyabroad.co.uk/Travelling-With-Baby-To/France/baby-milk-on-holiday-france.html - suggests they don't sell it

I live in France and have a baby so I'm up to date on what's available. SMA is not sold in France. The only UK brand I've seen is Hipp but it is relatively recent and not widely available.

Be aware that in France the instructions to make up formula differ to UK and you add suitable bottled water to powder and then warm up to drinking temperature. Ready made cartons are not easily available and are 500ml. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can you post some ahead? That's what we did when we yook DS to France at 10 months, but we were staying with relatives so had an address to send to.

BikeRunSki · 27/02/2015 06:58

this type of servicd might be useful.

sansissu · 27/02/2015 08:25

Thank you all for your responses. Fox, that's exactly what I needed to know, and Bike, thanks, I haven't come across that website before but it looks really useful and sending formula on ahead looks like the best option. I knew this would be the right place to ask!
