My current airport has limited options so thinking Malaga in May. Generally do not like resort holidays of any type.
Have been to Malaga itself, Grenada and Seville and really enjoyed. Obviously will need to consider pool or beach for kids. They are 2 and 4.
Any suggestions on areas to stay in including villas or apartments? Was looking briefly at Estepona. Happy to stay inland if anyone has fantastic suggestions!
Thanks

I've used this company to hire villas in rural Andalucia before and was very happy with their service and the property: www.rusticblue.com/ Most of the properties are in the Alpujaras (can't remember how you spell it - but the mountainous remote bit where 'Driving Over Lemons' is set) - that could be a good inland base, if you don't mind it taking ages to get anyway (very rural, so roads slow and windy). Really beautiful and peaceful.

Thank you Lovage.
Adored that book. Will have a look at the villas later. Sounds idealGrin
