I'm thinking a combination of tea plantation, some wildlife, and a beach holiday with snorkelling and Scuba.

Reading TA it seems we might have to spend hours in a car & I'm horribly travel sick.

Any thoughts? TIA

we went years ago and I'm off there again this evening (very excited) - we did travel long distances in a car, and some of the roads are pretty windy. But if you get a private car and driver you can stop whenever you want to have a rest, as you can set your own timetable of events. If you book a group tour sort of thing this is not so easy. I take travel sickness tablets and wear wrist bands as I too get very car sick. If you drive you could hire a car and do the driving yourself.

It is a beautliful country and well worth a visit. I always use the Lonely Planet guides for planning trips. Only there for a couple of days this time, but wish it was longer as would love to do a wildllife trip to try and see leopards and sloths.

Enjoy

Im horribly travelsick and was fine in Sri Lanka. We went with kuoni on our honeymoon. 2 weeks in the Maldives followed by a week touring Sri Lanka. The only time I had travel sickness problems was on a little boat night fishing in the Maldives. We were in a small minibus with one other couple in Sri Lanka. It is gorgeous and would love to go back. We did a safari but didn't see any of the big animals, but spent ages watching the weaver birds build their nests.
