Hi!

This is my first post, good to be a member!

My name's Jo and I've got a little girl called Sophie who is 2 months old and I live on the Wirral with my hubby of over 3 years.

We were thinking of having our first family holiday in the UK later on this year and am looking at a glamping/cabin/holiday home type thing around July time but all the ones I can find are so expensive at least £650! Looking to spend around £250 for accommodation, distance not an issue. No preference on day either.

Any ideas/opinions would be appreciated!

Look at going at the beginning of July before the schools break up and this should reduce prices. We have enjoyed holidays near marazion in Cornwall. Lots of beautiful beaches. May find a holiday apartment or static caravan in your price range. Whitby is pretty, and closer for you, or north Wales. Stick to the first 2 weeks of July and I'm sure you will find something. I live my life through Google so I would pick an area then search 'glamping in ..... '

I agree, go before the school holiday starts.

Saying that £250 for a week is not a lot, depending what you want to have for it.

With a 6 months old you can go virtually everywhere in the UK, so I would pick an area you like and go from there.

have a look at the canopyandstars website for glamping, some of the nicest places have a little extra place on site for glampers, (caserio del mirador has an airstream, half the price of a typical stay, gorgeous.. )
