I've always had a hankering to visit Scandinavia. I known and worked with lots of people from Sweden and Denmark and they've always spoken so fondly of it.

We have a 6 month old boy, so I'm not really sure what kind of holiday/location would suit us best.

Maybe a city break to Copenhagen or Stockholm? But then the countryside in summer looks beautiful.... So I'm not sure!

Anyone got any tips or ideas for me?

Norway is beautiful - perhaps a boat trip along the fjords? I went there pre-DCs and did some walking and a kayak trip on a fjord but that may be less practical with a small child. Oslo would be good for a city break.

Copenhagen would be fine with a small child. There's Copenhagen Zoo, and Tivoli Gardens to have a wander through.

Is it possible to do a one way cruise up the fjords and travel back uder own steam, does anyone know?
