My ILs want to make a train journey from Athens to Volos at the start of June and I've been trying to find out the train times for them. I have ascertained that they need to change in Larissa, but according to my investigations they can't set off any later than 10:18 in the morning in order to get to Volos that same day.
They are convinced the journey should be about four hours, although as far as I can see the journey from Athens to Larissa takes that long, so it can't be that quick.
Also, on the website I was looking on there were only three trains per day 'available' between Larissa and Volos, although I could see (greyed out) others. Could anyone explain why that might be?
They would consider getting the bus (although would much prefer the train) if they could guarantee there would be a toilet on it, so I would like to find a timetable for that also.
Any help would be very much appreciated as I have no knowledge of Greek, so am relying on websites translating themselves and can't even hazard a guess as to what they mean when they don't, as I don't recognise the letters!
