Thinking of going for 2 days in August. Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay?

It's a bit generic but we found the Novotel off Grand Place to be a really good location for everything and nice too.

I really loved it, we did all the touristy things and had a great time (although that maybe in part due to the fact it was our first child free break in ages!). Nice people, good transport, lovely food.

We went last summer and it was very nice but watch where you walk because in places it is dog shit central !

Oh the power of Mumsnet! I'm off to Brussels tomorrow, with the family, and staying in the Novotel at Grand Place. Really looking forward to it now!!
