We have been doing these kinds of holiday for the last three years, we are Germans and use it as language training for DD. We found there is not a lot of English speaking around the last farm had an Irish family but the farmer's wife was quite out of her depth when dealing with them.

But we always enjoyed it. Saying that, good farms are often booked out 12 months in advance.
