Cyprus border

Hi, I've looked already and can't seem to find an answer!!!
So my question is can my partner who is Greek Cypriot cross over the border into the southern side after he has entered the northern side first, flown from mainland turkey, then transferred to Cyprus?? Will he have problems having the Turkish stamp in his passport at the passport control?
