Have the chance to go away in June with a friend, we are looking at all inclusive deals. Have seen a few deals for Tunisia and Turkey but not sure which areas to avoid or which are ok. Ideally just need a good hotel, decent food and a pool. Just looking to have a relaxing week away, reading, maybe a spa and a few cocktails. Don't really know much about either place so any advice welcome.
This just a break for the two of us. We are in our 50's so don't want anywhere too rowdy but not quite pensioners so don't want to be with the waiting for God lot either!!

The Sensatori in Side, Turkey is beautiful, it's a short bus ride into Side town if you fancy a day/night out and you can choose to have a quiet or not so quiet time in the hotel, whichever suits your mood each day.

I would say Hammamet in Tunisia. The beach is gorgeous and the service and staff is far better than in Turkey. Also the flight is over an hour shorter. i HAVE ONLY BEEN TO FAMILY FOCUSSED HOTELS SO CANNOT RECCOMMEND ANYTHING FOR YOU, (sorry about the caps).

There are some lovely resorts in Turkey, I would just avoid anywhere in Marmaris as that is the Turkish equivalent of Blackpool!

We stayed in Hammamet, Old Hammamet to be precise. Right up at the top of the resort away from all tge night clubs (26 at the time going on 66). Resort was a mix of families and couples (small small infant pool next to the main pool then a separate kids pool further away with slides). Own part of the beach. Excellent excursions (camel ride and overnight stay in a Bedouin tent). We went June too (Honeymoon) and it was hot without being too humid.

Ill try and remember the Hotel name, but I know we were next door to a Hotel that had a tenpin bowling alley in its basement.

I've been to Hammamet too and thought it was lovely.
